canteen facility to our trainees and staff. The canteen offers breakfast and lunch to trainees at very reasonable price. Canteen at this institute .We are giving utmost importance to cleanliness and hygiene at canteen.
Computer Lab
A computer lab is a space where computer services are provided to a defined community. These are typically public libraries and academic institutions. Generally, users must follow a certain user policy to retain access to the computers. Computer labs typically have a variety of computers, software, and peripherals available for use. Some common features of computer labs include: Internet access Printers Scanners Software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and other tasks Specialized software for specific subjects, such as math, science, or art Whiteboards or projector screens for presentations Classroom furniture, such as tables and chairs
LIBRARY
The library is situated on first floor of the institute. The institute library creates an important learning hub with a rich collection of latest books on various subjects, journals, magazines from many leading and renowned publishing houses for ITI Trainees as well as Instructors.
MULTI PURPOSE HALL
A large multi-Purpose Hall is the centre of considerable activity and has facilities for indoor events, meetings and performances. As a great multipurpose space, the hall satisfies the needs of its assigned function – be it multimedia presentations, stage and musical productions. The distinctive feature of this space lies in its various levels being utilized for different purposes.
SAFETY/FIRE PROTECTION
The institute has fire protection facility, ITI building is protected by smoke detection and fire alarms, fire extinguishers in cases of emergencies. Numbers of Fire extinguishers, smoke detectors and fire alarms are placed in all workshops, labs and roomsof every floor of the institute building.
SPORTS
The institute gives utmost importance to sports activities and hence developed many facilities to train its trainees in various sports like Kabaddi, Badminton, Kho-Kho and Valley ball. The institute also provides facility for indoor games like Table tennis, Chess and carom board. Our Trainees regularly participate in district ITI’s sports Meet/Tournament activities organised by Shimla District ITI Sports Association.
IT Lab
Govt. ITI Kangal IT lab is fully equipped with advanced computer systems with latest operating software. IT Lab has 24 numbers of computer systems with latest configurations. The Institute has leased line internet connection. All the computer systems have internet facility through wi-fi and LAN.
